career
objective
I’m passionate about communities and about creative ideas to make them stronger. Early-career professional specializing in entrepreneur support through community-building. Experienced in sales, startup ecosystems, and administration.
Core Qualifications
Sales & Administration
In my current role as Front Desk Associate at the Nashville Entrepreneur Center, I am responsible for new coworking member recruitment as well as a variety of day-to-day administrative duties. Since taking on these responsibilities, I have converted most of my informational tour attendees to official members, using my knowledge of our company to provide enthusiastic tours tailored to each person that comes through our door. I have also developed a comprehensive set of documents and processes to help general business operations run smoothly, including scheduling, incoming payments, and recruitment.
Community-Oriented
As a member of both the Shoemaker Scholars and the Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization, building and contributing to an entrepreneurial community is incredibly important to me. I am actively networking with IU and Bloomington service providers to get student entrepreneurs the support they need.
Project Management
Entrepreneurship
As a student in Dr. Regan Stevenson’s Spine Sweat course (Spring 2021), I started my own venture: Momentus. That semester, I researched my industry, interviewed customers, and developed a tech product to help families share and preserve memories. The course culminated in a pitch to venture capitalists and industry experts, who awarded me an A in the course, as well as Best Presentation.
Leadership
Throughout high school and college, I have built experience in leading a team. As a high school senior, I was co-producer of a 92-minute short film, which involved extensive coordination as we guided 40+ students through the filmmaking process. As a freshman at IU, I led a team of 4 to 1st place in the 2019 KISI Case Competition, which awarded us the opportunity to work with Habitat for Humanity of Monroe County to provide sustainable, low-cost housing to families in need.
Versatile
It’s easier to ask me what I’m not interested in than what I am. Throughout college, I have explored fields as far ranging as business and biology, acting and informatics, backpacking and music theory. I pride myself on being a fast learner, and I love the chance to develop new skills. Often, I find that these vastly different fields are more interconnected than I originally thought.
Mission-Driven
At the very core of my entrepreneurial drive is mission. To me, business is all about making the world a better place. My personal mission is to use social entrepreneurship to “democratize” entrepreneurship, creating a reality where truly anyone and everyone can have the chance to act on their entrepreneurial dream.

Independent Study: Exploring the Critical Resources and Needs of US Women Entrepreneurs (October 2021 - May 2022)
Cross-case analysis exploring the resources most critical to the success of US women entrepreneurs.
Purpose: To provide new insights for researchers & service providers on how to best and support the modern woman entrepreneur.
Methodology: This is accomplished through a theoretical lens which examines the interactions between individual resources and environmental contexts as drivers of venture success.
Results: A current gap in the literature exists around how to support US women entrepreneurs in particular, especially when considering the additional factors of intersectionality, delivery method, and resource prioritization. This research contributes to an understanding of best practices for supporting women entrepreneurs as a next step towards making entrepreneurship accessible to all women.
